Cult.Flav. page 128 PlantingSeedlings

Welcome to kitchen gardening: The time-honoured art and gentle science of cultivating food for the table, at the peak of its freshness and flavour. And a special welcome to kindred spirits: those very special people who know about caring and sharing: caring for your health, your family, your community and your environment, not just for today and for your own lifetime, but far into the future.

Kitchen gardening is such a wide subject – and there are so many things to talk about, that I’ve grouped the posts under the headings above. Some of the posts are directly from the book Cultivating Flavour, some include material we had to leave out of the book because of lack of space, whilst others have been inspired by kindred spirits I met as a result of the book. Please feel free to leave your comments.

Use organic, no-till in permanent beds for gardening and mini-farming. No digging, tilling, plowing. Do not buy anything, from anybody for the garden/farm except seed. If you would like to have my document on this, send an email to minifarms@gmail.com. Ken Hargesheimer
